First-year student at the NSA, Semen Novikov, will compete for an Olympic title in wrestling!

First-year student at the National Sports Academy, Semen Novikov, will compete for the Olympic title in the wrestling tournament, classical style, in the category up to 87 kilograms. He qualified for the final after defeating world champion David Lozontzi (Hungary) with a score of 3:1 points in the semifinal match.
For the gold medal, Novikov will face Iranian Ali Reza Mohammadi Piyani - world vice-champion in the category up to 82 kg, on Thursday, August 8. The match between the two is scheduled for 21:30 Bulgarian time.
