Bozhidar Saraboyukov Wins Long Jump Title at Tournament in France
Published on 03 February 2025 First-year National Sports Academy student Bozhidar Saraboyukov claimed first place in the long jump at the athletics tournament held in Miramas, France. His winning jump of 8.19 meters set a new tournament record. This remarkable achievement also propelled Saraboyukov to second place in the world rankings for the season. Second place went to China’s Heng Shu with a jump of 8.12 meters, while Gerson Balde of Portugal finished third with 7.88 meters. Just two days before his triumph in France, Bozhidar Saraboyukov secured third place at the tournament in Belgrade, marking his season debut with a jump of 8.06 meters.
