Published on 17 February 2025 The wrestling students from SCW "NSA - Vasil Levski" delivered a strong performance at the international tournament "Petko Sirakov - Ivan Iliev" for youth and juniors under 23 years. Vanessa Georgieva claimed yet another championship title in the 76 kg category. The first-year student of the Sports Academy was also named the best Bulgarian female competitor of the tournament. Other NSA students, competing in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling – Yordan Topalov and Tanyo Tanev – finished in second place in their respective categories. The competition took place in the "Sofia" hall in the capital from February 14 to 16, with the participation of over 220 wrestlers from Argentina, Belgium, Spain, France, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Iran, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, North Macedonia, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Switzerland, Ukraine, the USA, and Bulgaria.
