Specialists from NSA to Conduct Research at the "Levski" Football Academy
Published on 09 December 2024  Specialists from the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" will conduct research on the functional fitness of young football players from the PFC "Levski" academy. This was agreed upon during a meeting between the rector, Prof. Krasimir Petkov, and Elin Topuzakov, director of the "Levski" Academy. The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Petar Peev from the "Track and Field" department, Senior Assistant Danail Ivanov from the "Football and Tennis" department, and Senior Assistant Oleg Hristov from the Center for Scientific and Applied Sports Activities (CSASA) at NSA. The research will primarily involve screening strength indicators and will be conducted using modern equipment – the KINEO robotic system for multifunctional motion diagnostics of strength and speed-strength exercises. The equipment was purchased in 2024 by NSA with project funds for the needs of the CSASA. |
